EMPHASIS IN GRAPHIC DESIGN
Graphic design is all around us, it is a way to convey messages in a visually stimulating
way. I’m interested in how graphic design has the power to bring different ideas together in a
summarized a clear way. The design incorporates a lot of different techniques and can be used in a lot of different formats such as visual merchandising or labels on everyday products to even the fonts we use to write a paper. When creating work, I like to capture the balance of things that are familiar and the unknown. When people come across the work, I want them to interact and relate with the piece in their own way. I like to incorporate different layers and textures to trick the viewer and almost force them to get closer to the piece.

CHECK BEHIND THE SCENES OF HER THESIS PROJECT
I want the viewer to have a connection with the videos in a physical way which is why I want it to be vertical in line with the body. I want all the videos playing at once to make it overwhelm along with all the sounds coming from each video, mimicking social media.
The sounds consist of audio of hair texture which will be played with the Hair video, the audio for the Face video are recordings of blackhead removal and audio of the Body which are recordings of surgical procedures.
